Awards & Appreciation Banquet
Every year, NALS of Tucson & So. AZ hosts a banquet to present awards to one outstanding member of our association and an exceptional boss in the legal community. An installation ceremony is also held at the banquet wherein the incoming elected officers are sworn in and the outgoing officers are relieved of their positions.
The banquet is a great time for networking, reconnecting with old friends, honoring our employers and celebrating the achievements of others. Members old and new join with other legal professionals to bring in the new association year and show support for the newly installed elected leaders.
PAST EVENTS
The 2010 Awards & Appreciation Banquet was held at the historic Hotel Congress in downtown Tucson, and commemorated NALS of Tucson & So. AZ's 50th Anniversary of existence in the Tucson and southern Arizona legal community. The event was well attended, with local attorney Elliott Glicksman as emcee, and past NALS President (and Tucson resident) Thelma Bambauer as keynote speaker.
To continue the celebration, the 2011 Banquet was an even bigger celebration, bringing in the next 50 years with a party. NTSA hosted a fundraiser "casino night" complete with Texas Hold'em poker, blackjack and bingo, raffles and karaoke entertainment. It was one heck of a good time for everyone.

Award of Excellence
The NALS of Tucson & So. AZ Award of Excellence (formerly known as the Legal Secretary of the Year Award) is the highest honor given to a local member for their outstanding achievements within the association, the legal community and in the pursuit of excellence in their personal and professional lives. Award of Excellence winners are the cream of the crop and examples to others around them, in NALS and in the workplace.

Boss of the Year
NALS members appreciate the support of their bosses. Whether it be an office administrator who is always there to lend a handor an attorney who makes sure to praise and encourage teamwork, NALS members want to make sure that their bosses know that no kind gesture goes unnoticed.
