Award of Excellence
The NALS Award of Excellence is the top honor a member can receive from NALS. Formerly called the Legal Secretary of the Year, this award's name was changed in the 1990s to better reflect the membership of NALS and to be more inclusive of those being honored. NALS of Tucson & So. AZ also awards an annual Award of Excellence to one of its local members for excellence in his/her profession, in their NALS contributions and for their service to the legal community.
